Advancing Patient Safety in Government Facilities

Advancing Patient Safety in Government Facilities

Protecting Those Who Serve

Federal healthcare facilities operate in some of the most diverse and demanding clinical environments. Nanosonics supports this mission by delivering proven, automated infection prevention solutions built to perform in every environment.

Our solutions help reduce infection risk, streamline workflows, and maintain compliance, so clinicians focus on delivering exceptional patient care to those who depend on them.

2,000+ units deployed across federal healthcare, backed by more than a decade of proven performance.

Trusted nationwide, including 100+ Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Centers, 120+ Defense Health Agency (DHA) sites, 30+ Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, as well as the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and Health and Human Services (HHS).

Proven in mission‑critical environments, from major medical centers to austere settings such as the USNS Comfort and field medicine locations.

Cybersecurity is Your Concern, and Ours

As part of our ongoing commitment to cybersecurity, Nanosonics proactively completed the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and has been confirmed Authority to Operate (ATO) from the federal government.

Expanding Access to Government Facilities

The Equipment Life Cycle Management (ELCM) Program is designed exclusively for U.S. federal agencies to simplify procurement and manage total cost of ownership, from acquisition through maintenance, service, and ongoing readiness. By bringing clarity to life cycle costs, the ELCM Program enables more effective planning, resource optimization, and long-term value.

To expand access to these solutions, Nanosonics partners with authorized distributors who offer specialized federal contracting expertise, helping ensure streamlined procurement and reliable service across government facilities.

End-to-End Ultrasound Probe Reprocessing Solution

The trophon3® device is an automated High-Level Disinfection (HLD) device that generates a 'sonically-activated' hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) mist to deliver effective and consistent HLD.

The trophon ecosystem, every component, from consumables to compliance, is designed to work together. That means fewer ultrasound probe compatibility issues, lessening the risk of probe damage and audit challenges.

trophon Companion Cleaning Wipes

Facilitate the cleaning of organic material, microbial load, gel and soils from the surface of the probes before high level disinfection is performed by the trophon device. The multipurpose wipes also provide efficient low level disinfection (LLD) of ultrasound probes and other equipment including the console, monitors, keyboards, cables and probe holders.

trophon Companion Drying Wipes

Used to dry probes before and after HLD. Unlike many wipes that just move moisture around, trophon Companion Drying Wipes are highly absorbent to leave surfaces completely dry.

Soiled Ultrasound Probe Covers

Custom-designed for clear identification and safe transport of soiled ultrasound probes.  These single-use, non-sterile covers help minimize the risk of cross-contamination of soiled ultrasound probes prior to high-level disinfection (HLD).

trophon Sonex-HL®

trophon Sonex-HL is a proprietary disinfectant liquid with 35% hydrogen peroxide chemistry
to achieve effective high-level disinfection of the entire ultrasound probe including the shaft
and handle. Incorporates AcuTrace technology to store batch and expiry details directly onto
your trophon3 device.

trophon Chemical Indicator

The trophon Chemical Indicator responds to a combination of specified time, disinfectant dosage and disinfectant concentration. These critical parameters need to be met for the chemical indicator to change to a pass color.

This qualitative color change provides independent confirmation of success of each disinfection cycle. Indicator packaging now incorporates AcuTrace technology to record and store batch and expiry details directly into your trophon3 device.

Clean Ultrasound Probe Covers

To prevent endocavitary and surface ultrasound probes from recontamination after high-level disinfection and before they are used on the next patient.

trophon Medical Instrument Tag

Incorporates AcuTrace technology to digitally capture ultrasound probe details, stored directly on your trophon3 device.

trophon Operator Card

Incorporates AcuTrace technology to digitally capture operator interaction details, stored directly on your trophon3 device.

trophon Printer

The trophon Printer is a fast, easy to use traceability solution that helps to link the probe and the HLD cycle with the patient.

trophon Printer Paper

High quality printer labels with a minimum 7-year life span, appropriate for medical records.

Track with Nanosonics Connect and Modality Worklist and PACS Integration.

trophon Cart

Makes the trophon device fully mobile for convenient point of care (POC) use and adaptability where there are space constraints.

trophon Printer Cart Mount 2^

Designed for securely attaching the trophon Printer to the trophon Cart, in an easily accessible, convenient location.

trophon Cart UPS Bracket*

Designed to accommodate an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) unit to enable trophon devices mobility between patient examination rooms eliminating the need to turn off the trophon device.

trophon Wall Mount 2

A convenient option for installing your trophon device where there are space constraints.

trophon Printer Wall Mount

Custom-designed for secure, horizontal mounting of the trophon Printer to a wall.

 trophon Wireless Ultrasound Probe Holder

Reusable accessory designed specifically for the high-level disinfection (HLD) of wireless ultrasound probes and is compatible with all trophon devices.
