Early trophon® EPR device Adopters love the new trophon®2 device

About the Facility

Cameron Memorial Community Hospital is a small community health care facility located at the tip of Indiana near the Ohio and Michigan borders. The general practice facility uses ultrasound for a variety of procedures, including OBGYN and radiology.

Early trophon® EPR device Adopters love the new trophon®2 device

Cameron was one of the early adopters of trophon technology, purchasing a trophon EPR device back in October 2012. The Cameron team was diligent about following maintenance schedules so the trophon EPR device has held up well, but they were very excited to see the upgrades in the new trophon2 device.

New and Favorite Features

Lead sonographer, Nicole Ingerson, RDMS, applied for the 2020 IIPW trophon2 giveback giveaway sweepstakes.

“We already have a trophon EPR device, so I knew we would love the trophon2 device!”

The whole team gathered for the upgrade installation, facilitated by Clinical Applications Specialist, Julia Jackson.  Their favorite features include ease of set-up and use, automated documentation, and speed in workflow.

Outcomes

After winning the trophon2 device prize package, the hospital was able to relocate their older trophon EPR device to the OBGYN department, keeping the trophon2 in radiology/imaging services. This allows for a smoother workflow for both departments and a high standard of patient care throughout the facility.

“I love the fact that it raises our standard of care and the safety of our patients. The set-up, documentation, and workflow are fantastic. The staff is very pumped and excited to be using the new trophon2 device. Julia was terrific working with staff and provided great training and education.”
